Here is some good news we all can celebrate;
At the recent Knights of Columbus convention held in Gander Terra Nova Council #1452 was recognized for the great efforts that our members have accomplished in service to the community and to the Church.
The following awards were accepted on behalf of our members by Grand Knight Pat Hayward and Deputy Grand Knight Cyril Brennan who both represented the Council at the convention.
Most outstanding Council in Newfoundland and Labrador for 2016-2017
State winner for council activities in Nfld and Labrador for 2016-2017
State winner for youth activities in Nfld and Labrador for 2016-2017
State winner for community activities (2nd place) in Nfld. And Labrador for 2016-2017
State winner for church activities in Nfld. And Labrador for 2016-2017
Grand Knight of Terra Nova Pat Hayward was awarded the Knight of the Year for Nfld. And Labrador.
These awards are a recognition by our peers as to the work we all do in the name of the Knights of Columbus. You can take great pride in the fact that our deeds were judged to be of the highest standard and brought honor to our Council Terra Nova reflected by our being chosen for these awards.
